The MAC website describes the color of Star Quality as Bright Orange Coral. I’d agree with that description partially – I also see some red and pink in it…in fact I see less of orange. The color is beautiful! Perfect for summer. Gives the face a nice pop of color. It does not have any glitter in it. The coverage is semi-opaque but more than what you get from an average lipgloss. I am quite happy with the coverage. The texture is awesome, very creamy, far less sticky and more long wearing compared to usual lip glosses. Though it is a long wearing gloss, you will need to reapply after eating or drinking.
It has a very mild vanilla fragrance. It looks good on its own as well as over a lip color. If you like corals, go for this gloss. I am sure I’m going to wear this gloss a lot this summer!
It is expensive – In India it costs Rs1500 for 2.7g of product. It is available via the MAC counters. US customers can buy it online via the Official MAC Website for $20.00. UK customers can also buy it online via the MAC UK Website for £ 17.50
