I bought these Polka Dot Ankle trousers from one of RelianceTrends outlets over a month ago but never found the right top to pair them with. These are drawstring trousers with a waistband, two front slash pockets and cuffs at the ankles. They are from an interesting brand called Bisou Bisou. This brand has some great outfits that express the Designer and CEO, Michele Bohbot’s vision of Parisian street fashion amalgamated with modern style.

I wore these trousers a couple of times and got disappointed because they looked like pajamas on me. I was beginning to think that I’d probably never be able to make them work for myself. That when I saw these wonderful pages on the Monochrome palette in the September edition of Vogue India.

As if by divine intervention, just at the right time, I also chanced upon this wonderful article at the Harper’s Bazaar website titled “Why Black + White Is Always Right”. Coupled by the inspiration from Vouge and this article, I thought of pairing these trousers with my White and Black Georgette Tank Top From Chemistry. I decided to wear red lips with this outfit to bring in some more contrast. Kept rest of the makeup simple – just foundation, flesh toned eyeshadow and winged eyeliner! Let me know what you think about this look 🙂
