I just realized that in addition to makeup, I can write about other interesting things too! So I thought I’ll start a section on accessories and call it – Accessory of the day!
The earrings I am talking about today are ones I rarely wear – because I like them so much that I am scared of losing them. I had bought these earrings about 6 years back. I distinctly remember that I had asked for unique silver earrings and since my description was vague the owner of the store handed a huge box of earrings for me to sift through. Within a few minutes, I spotted these earrings. The moment I saw them, I knew I wanted them. The sad thing is that one them doesn’t get latched properly and so I am paranoid about losing it. Consequently, I don’t wear them as often as I’d like to.
About an year after I bought these earrings, I saw Julia Roberts wearing the exact same ones in the first scene of the movie Duplicity. Needless to say, my love and fascination for these earrings went up a few notches. Doesn’t she look gorgeous wearing them?
The design of the earrings isn’t very complicated. Just a wing of silver metal crafted to give it a feather like appearance – the overall look of the earring is fabulous though!
