I love glossy coral lips! Especially during summers. This summer, I’ve tried a wonderful coral liquid lipstick from L’Oreal – Color Riche Extraordinaire Lipstick in the shade Coral Encore (sent by L’Oreal). It is a vibrant coral shade with shimmer (I will post a detailed review of Coral Encore in a separate post). I had a lot of fun creating these two looks using Coral Encore.
The First Look
My first look has a bold Blue Winged Liner and Coral Lips. I love this kind of a look for a romantic dinner date. Here are some pictures.
I have used L’Oreal Super Liner Gel Intenza in the shade Royal Blue for the Winged Liner. There’s navy blue mascara on my lashes. There’s a very very tiny amount of matte deep purple shadow in the crease. There’s so little of this purple shadow that you won’t even notice it. I’ve added it just to create some definition.The lower lash line has also been lined (only halfway) with Gel Intenza Royal Blue and lightly smudged with the deep purple matte shadow.
I used a pink blush for my cheeks after light contouring with a matte bronzer. I have also used a champagne colored highlighter for my cheeks. For the lips, I used a flesh toned lip liner to define the lips followed by two layers of Coral Encore.
The Second Look
The second look is what I call the “Soft Glam Look”. It looks effortless, sophisticated and chic. For this look, I have kept the eye makeup soft and subtle. I have used a Peachy Gold eye shadow on the lids and a deeper golden brown shadow in the crease. I have also used a brown liner on the upper and lower lashline. There’s a light wash of pink blush for the cheeks with a bit of highlighter. Very light contouring with a matte bronzer. For the lips, I used a flesh toned lip liner to define the lips and a single thick layer of Coral Encore. I think this is a safe daytime look that will look good on all skin tones.
